Michele Fontaine – April 2007
|
Michele
Fontaine recently relocated to Woodstock, Connecticut from Brooklyn, New York
where she lived since 1980. Most of
her creative pursuits have taken place in her studio space in Woodstock,
where she and her partner have had a home since 2000. Her media tend to be oil, pencil and
photography focusing on line, color and texture, adapted from the clear and
ever-changing light on her 14-acre property.
In addition, Michele is an avid traveler and she has utilized her
repertoire of photos and numerous visual impressions as inspiration for other
media. Michele is showcasing a sample
of her work at the Sturbridge Coffee Roasters Café in April. |
